Handcrafted with Heart Since 2015
Meet the chef
From a single burner to a bustling commercial kitchen — a story of growth, grit, and great food.
The Spark
It started with a crowded countertop and a heart full of ambition. In a small apartment kitchen, where the scent of roasting garlic filled every corner, the first seeds of ZingyFood were sown. There was no “staff” – just one passionate cook, a stack of mismatched plates, and an unshakeable drive to make guests’ faces light up at that very first bite.
Cooking has always been my way of creating comfort. What began as a personal passion slowly grew into something more: a vision to bring traditional recipes to Geneva in a fresh, modern, and accessible way.
The Growing Pains
Word spread quickly. Intimate dinners for friends became local gatherings, which became — almost overnight — “Could you cater a Diwali party for 300 guests at the Global Fund?” That was November 2015, and suddenly, the home kitchen felt very small indeed.
The transition was fueled by late nights, flour-dusted notebooks, and one important realization: cooking for ten is an art, but cooking for fifty is a symphony. Every successful event became a building block, proving that passion – when paired with precision – can fill any room.
My approach has always been simple: keep it wholesome, keep it fresh, and cook with intention.
The Expansion
Today, the mismatched plates have given way to polished serviceware, and the single burner to a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. Moving into this larger space wasn’t just about square footage — it was about the freedom to dream bigger. We now proudly cater events for 100+ guests, backed by a professional team, without ever losing that intimate, small-kitchen soul.
The Next Chapter: Beyond the Kitchen
Food has always been the heart of every great event — but a truly memorable experience is so much more than what’s on the plate. Over time, our guests began asking for more: “Could you help with the décor too?” “Do you know a good DJ?” “We need something special for the kids.”
So we listened.
ZingyFood has grown into a full-service event partner. Alongside our catering, we now take care of the details that transform a gathering into an experience — from elegant table settings and bespoke theme decorations to curated entertainment, whether that’s a DJ who reads the room or a performer who keeps the little ones delighted. We coordinate the moving parts so you don’t have to, letting you arrive as a guest at your own event.
Because great food deserves a great stage.
The Promise: A Bigger Kitchen, the Same Heart
The pots may be larger, the guest lists longer, and our role greater than ever — but the philosophy hasn’t changed one bit. We still obsess over the quality of our produce, the perfect sear on a scallop, and the personal touches that define every plate and every moment. We’ve grown in scale and in scope, but we’re still the same cooks who fell in love with feeding people and making moments matter. Just with a lot more room, and a lot more ways, to do it.
Celebrating Real Flavor
Her Cooking Philosophy
Indian cuisine is known for its vibrant aromas and layered spices, yet I believe great food doesn’t need to be complicated. I work with fresh, easily accessible Indo-European ingredients, complemented with select imported spices, to craft meals that are flavourful, balanced and comforting.
Whether it’s catering for a birthday, an intimate dinner, or a large gathering, my goal remains the same: offer food that feels homemade, nourishing and joyfully delicious.
From appetisers to mains, desserts to finger food, every dish is prepared with care — and always at a fair, honest price.
At the heart of it all lies my guiding principle:
“Keep it fresh and simple — that’s how home cooking is meant to be.”
